Aberfeldy is one of Scotland's best-known holiday towns and offers a complete antidote to modern day stresses. Built up in the late 18th Century around Wades Bridge which was the first crossing of the Upper River Tay in 1733. Aberfeldy has a host of fine retail shops and galleries varying from traditional to the more contemporary. It makes a great base for walking, golfing (4 courses nearby & Gleneagles a 45min drive) angling (trout permits available or ask us about Salmon Lets) and for the more energetic canyoning, white water rafting, abseiling, bouldering and cliff jumping.
